The Hatsuyuki HC8EDC cube shaved ice machine is the 12 volt version of the HC8E.  The ice shaver is powered by hooking the power cable (included) to a deep cycle marine battery.  Easy to use, NSF approved. The Hatsuyuki HC8EDC has an unique blade adjustment to produce the soft, fluffy Hawaiian Shave Ice that customers demand.
The HC8EDC is recommended for outdoor use with a rechargeable deep cycle marine battery. Perfect for cart businesses, amusement parks, baseball/football fields, and concession trailers were electrical power is not available.  A 40AH (amp/hour) deep cycle marine battery will allow the HC8EDC to shave 400 or more servings of shaved ice by a single overnight charge.
