Explode a Messy Volcano!
Make a messy volcano that explodes all over. Here's how.
This is a great idea for your science project or just for fun. (Please do this with adult supervision. It sure does make a mess.)
- An empty juice or water or soda bottle - this is going to be your volcano. (If you want to decorate it before you start the experiment, go right ahead! If you surround the bottle with playdough or clay, it will look very much like a volcano.)
- Some baking soda
- Some white vinegar

Family Fun - Make Your Own Sock Puppets
Next, get some markers. If you want to be fancy, you can get glue, buttons, extra fabric, and scissors too.
Put your hand in your sock so that four of your fingers are in the toe part of the sock and your thumb is in the heel part. When you move your hand, it will look like your sock puppet is opening his mouth.
Now you can decorate your puppet - give it eyes, a tongue, ears, a nose - anything you want!Once you have a whole bunch of sock puppets, you can put on a puppet show for your friends and family.
